Even though Apple Valley won the 15-16 Open Gold title,
VB4Y Team players got some well deserved player recognition from Prep Volleyball.

Hanna Eljaiek is a sophomore at Hickory High School. She is a very coachable player with a passion and desire to always improve her game. Getting noticed for her serve receive communication was great-she's earned it. Hanna Eljaiek, (VB4Y Player, Virginia), Libero: Eljaiek communicated well and was aggressive. She was strong on serve-receive and defense.

Chaney Ganninger, is a sophomore who has proven she is a valuable asset to any team. We are very proud her hard work was noticed. She has played Outside, Opposite, Middle, and Setter for our team this year. Chaney Ganninger, (Virginia), S: Her leadership and aggressive play made her the team’s standout performer for the day. 

Kayla Wallace, is an 8th grader who just started playing club this season gets noticed:  Kayla Wallace, VB4Y Player (Virginia), MH: A two-day standout for her hitting and consistent play for VB4Y.

Shyann McClain,  Freshman at Grassfield High School, first season playing club volleyball, first season learning to set-gets noticed by Prep Volleyball.com  Shyann McClain VB4Y Player (Virginia), S: Strong decision-making skills and high energy play made McClain a standout on Saturday.
